Perseverance.

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

wow! What an encouraging, yet challenging verse! 

I just got back to school after a long and dreadful day on the road. The drive is getting easier and easier, I mean, why wouldn't it after 20 times?  But for some reason today, it took me almost 2 hours to actually leave my house. I was thinking of every excuse, every detour that I could to just stay home. Ofcourse, that would be just silly when you think about the fact that I have a month of school left. But the word that I kept reminding myself was perseverance. 

So after I got home this evening, I sat on the couch and caught up with my roommates. 

I kept complaining about how tired I was, so I decided to go to bed. I was just going to go straight to sleep when I remembered that I hadn't looked up the verse for BibleGateway today, then behold, it was THE verse that I needed. My God loves me so much, and He PROMISES to reward those who persevere for His name's sake.
