I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.
Every year it seems as though I really don't "relax" until the actual day of Christmas. December is such a crazy month, and this time around the word "crazy" was an understatement. I actually spent a majority of the day laying on the couch, which was exactly what I wanted! :)
This Christmas was definitely a Christmas to remember, but there were so many things that made it quite different than any other year. Our church location changed, we are selling our house, we ALMOST didn't put up a Christmas tree (I had to have a fit!) and it was also extremely warm outside....okay, that wasn't that different from every other year lol.
But this Christmas involved a lot of thought. Knowing that our family would not celebrate Christmas next year in the place that we celebrated this year, was just something that I don't think any of us could really wrap our minds around. Also, because I graduated, I had to completely move back, and not just bring a suitcase. I feel like I am going to drowned under all of the boxes in my room. I can't seem to find anything, and nothing is organized. Yes, this is very humbling for me to live in (ha)
I leave in exactly 6 days for Atlanta, GA to go to Passion 2011. It really hasn't sunk in completely, but this is something that I have been looking forward to for a long while. I get to drive up to Richmond, VA to spend some time {freezing} with my aunt, uncle, and cousins! I am SOOOOOOO excited to go and visit with all of them.
Life is really changing, and not that it is all bad, but it is just different. Jace, my cousin, bought me a book for graduation entitled "The Principle of the Path"... I absolutely love every second of the read. It is exactly what I need to hear at this point in my life. If you are wondering what or how to get to the next step in your life, I first recommend reading God's word :)... but this book is really great as well!
I have really been slacking on updating this thing and also taking pictures. I will try to do better :)
