In my Biblical Wisdom and Human Behavior class we are studying what makes a person "wise" and how it is respected or disrespected within our society. In addition to humility and the fear of the Lord, here is a list of characteristics of a wise person:
Humbly does good
Practices the Word of God
Is self-controlled
Aggressively submits
Learns aggressively and appreciatively
Has gumption
Strategizes effectively
Highly Successful
I have been so challenged in my thought process lately, how wise am I? How proactive am I at striving for wisdom?
Who is the wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good life, by deeds done in humility that comes from wisdom.
James 3:13
