I sure do miss blogging. I have found myself desiring a good, peaceful time to just sit, listen to the Lord, and write. I realize that this is almost an impossible desire to have while being in college, but I can still wish :)
{Week Recap}
This week was absolutely beautiful outside. The weather has called for boots and a light sweater, which makes me HAPPY. Drinking coffee is so much more enjoyable when it is cold outside.
AND.. I even got to wear my brand new leather jacket!
Picture is compliments of my RA, Sarah Trout :)
I have found myself completely booked at almost every meal, meeting with women around campus. I have been able to listen to how the Lord is working in their lives, encourage, challenge, and grow with them on a deeper level. A level of sisterhood in Christ. Although most of the nights this week I have come home absolutely exhausted, both physically and emotionally, I am so thankful for every single minute. I do not feel worthy, what-so-ever, to have such incredible women in my life, but I am still just thanking the Lord for them all.
Also- today I met with a very influential and powerful man at CBU. I expressed my interest in a future career within the realm of the CBU community. The meeting went absolutely fabulous (Thank you to all who were praying!!!). I left very confident and hopeful that someday I could play an influential part in the community, beyond being a student.
I am preparing for my family coming this weekend. They are spending all next week in San Diego. I am getting as much homework done this week, so next week can be like a mini vacation :) I am crossing my fingers that none of my professors will surprise me next week.
Bedazzle Saurus Rex is 3-2. We played the Smooth Criminals on Tuesday, and though we lost, we put up a good fight. I was very proud of every single one of our girls. we have a monday night football game this coming monday, and we are STOKED.
I was rocked this week by this scripture:
1 Timothy 1:5
"The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. "
