50 Years!

So today was Papa Nathan and Grandma Peggy's 50th wedding anniversary!
Shea and I were lucky enough to be here for their special day. I don't know if they knew this, but I spent most of the day today just watching them, and observing. 50 YEARS! I cannot even fathom living that long, especially being married that long! We took them out to Red Lobster, across the street from the church where they were married! How crazy! We were even at the restaurant at the exact same time of the ceremony. It is such an incredible testament of when the Lord is at the center of a marriage, He will bless is beyond measure. My grandma is one of the most self less and hard working women I have ever met. Watching her be patient and calm with papa Nathan is truly a sight. She always puts his needs above her own. And she also lets him think he is right when he isn't ;)   And papa Nathan is such an incredible provider. He is always making sure everyone is happy and getting what they want. I initially told them that they could go out to dinner and Shea and I would stay at the house. They did NOT want that!!! They wanted their grand children with them! I LOVE that!
I was so happy to be able to spend this special day with them. and I realized this : I hope someday I am able to be so happy, goofy, and fun on my 50th wedding anniversary :)

Happy Anniversary, Grandma and Papa!
WE LOVE YOU !!!
