Lord with You, there's nothing I cannot do.
Well. I am back. In Riverside. CBU.
I have the apartment to myself. and while somedays I would kill for this, right now I definitely wish for some company. But I am enjoying the absolute peace and quiet. The Lord is really teaching me a lot lately. By going home, savoring every moment. I go home and just feel loved, adored, and at home! By coming to cbu and being for only a few short hours and running into two amazing Godly women that really encouraged and uplifted me. By already facing valleys and mountains, and just knowing i have HOPE through Jesus Christ.
I am more of the "put my ipod on shuffle" kind of girl. But lately, I CANNOT turn off Brit Nicole's "Set the World on Fire"... wow. This song is just speaking to me. it is absolutely amazing, and the only thing I am listening to as of late.
Here are the lyrics:
I wanna set the world on fire
Until it's burning bright for You
It's everything that I desire
Can I be the one You use?
I, I am small but
You, You are big enough
I, I am weak but
You, You are strong enough to
Take my dreams
Come and give them wings
Lord with You
Nothing I can not do
Nothing I cannot do
I wanna feed the hungry children
And reach across the farthest land
And tell the broken there is healing
And mercy in the Father's hands
Take my dreams
Come and give them wings
Lord with You
Nothing I cannot do
Nothing I cannot do
My hands my feet
My everything
My life, my love
Lord, use me
I wanna set the world on fire
I wanna set the world on fire, yeah
Take my dreams
Come and give them wings
Lord with You
Nothing I cannot do
Take my dreams
Come and give them wings
Lord with You
There's nothing I can't do
Nothing I can't do
I'm gonna set the world on fire
Set the world on fire

That's a cool song!! I do that too sometimes where I play one song over and over and nearly wear a hole in my CD! It's so hard to know where home really is when your changing all the time isn't it. I used to tell the kids that "home is where your suitcase is" meaning where ever you are be all there, don't miss out having fun where you are because you are missing the last place. Remember God is your constant in a world that is always changing and he's ALWAYS with you. Just stay focused on HIM and He will calm your heart and make your way smooth. I'm praying you have your best semester yet.
