Well mom/sissy weekend is officially over! And as sad as it is, I can't BELIEVE how much FUN we had!!! I wanted to make sure to blog everything that we did, so we won't forget :) I always love to look back at pictures and journals I have written, just to reminisce on the thousands and thousands of blessings that the Lord has given to us. Here is what we did this weekend, mom and shea came out Friday and stayed until Tuesday morning, SO FUN!

{Friday}

::Lots of shopping!! They arrived in the afternoon, and I had gotten all of my homework done before they got here. We went to the Tyler Mall because we had a giftcard to Nordstrom that was burning a hole in our pockets! haha. We got lots of cute fall sweaters and things, and I got pink boots! :) ::::

{Saturday}

:: This day was spent completely in LA! We started our morning off with Pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin bread (YUM!) Kayla and her mom joined us and our first stop was the fashion district. Shea got zebra luggage and mom got a cute black purse. it was soo fun! Fashion district gets a little bit scary, but it was still so fun! haha. We then found ourselves eating lunch at the Farmers Market which is in the Grove shopping center. TALK ABOUT AN AWESOME PLACE! The Grove is a very glitzy outside mall in Los Angeles. We didn't really purchase anything, hah, but we had a great time looking around. The weather was absolutely perfect! Shea loved the American Girl doll factory. We spent a good chunk of time in that place! The Farmers Market was so good too, it had a variety of every type of food you could think of. We ended up having BBQ...YUMMM!! :)

We then found ourselves waiting in a huge line to get free parking at the Getty Museum. It was absolutely beautiful! It is on the hill of LA. If my camera was better, I would have taken more pictures, but thats ok :)

We enjoyed a warm cup of coffee and took in the beautiful scenery of the place:::

{Sunday}

There isn't a lot to say about Sunday except... DISNEYLAND!!!

The fall theme is up and how fun it is!! We waited in line for space mountain and it shut down while we were waiting. We decided to wait it out, and it paid off! Lots of people got out of line so we just scooted our way up :) My Daniel found us while we were waiting too :) He had staff retreat so we didn't get to spend the day with him, but he would sneak away and come see us :) It made the day even that much better :)

{Monday}

It was raining all day but we didn't let that get in the way! :) We spent this day getting BARGAINS at Dos Lagos. SOOOO FUN! I bought soo many bottles of Big Sexy Hair, not only because it was pink for breast cancer month, but it was on sale for $5.99!!!!! I KNOWW!!! :)

Monday night, mom helped me study for my biology exam, YUCK! But I took it yesterday, and I think it paid off that I studied like I did.

Last night was womens chapel. It was so neat to see so many Godly women in one place, worshipping the Lord together. It was an experience that doesn't happen often, and it was so fun. This whole week is women's week at cbu. Each day they are having events for women. I am excited to see what the rest of the week holds.

I spend all morning thanking the Lord for my family, friends, and all of the blessings that I receive each and every day. I am in awe of the saving grace and love that the Lord provides.
