1 John 3:16
Well the past few weeks at home have been great. I have been able to enjoy lots of relaxing time by the pool, lots of family time, and even a few of my favorite visitors :) It has also been a few weeks of many new beginnings and endings. It has been so amazing to see the Lord's hand over what has gone on out here in QC! :) The church is doing awesome, I love the church family that God has so graciously provided. My amazing dad is such a great shepherd of the flock out here. I absolutely adore him in so many ways. Tomorrow morning Shea and I will board a plane and head to Memphis, TN. We are sooo excited! Every summer we go out and spend a few weeks getting spoiled by our grandparents and we cannot wait! I will be sure to blog and keep all of you updated on the fun events of our trip!
So I got to spend a few days with Dan this week, and had an absolute BLAST! We have been able to have a couple skype dates since he has been back in CA, so that has been great as well. We will go almost 2 months without seeing each other, but we just keep thinking to ourselves that if we are patient and wait it out, then we will be able to spend a week of vacation in San Diego together with his family! So that will be well worth the wait :)
I felt so incredibly blessed this week to spend time with some great friends. I not only got to spend time with Dan, but we got to spend an evening with my Bethany and her husband Kenny, and also some of their friends. I also felt so spoiled because I got to spend a few hours with Bethany while she did my hair. I always have the most amazing conversations with her, and I am always so uplifted whenever I leave. She is truly a blessing in my life, and I love every minute that we get to spend together.
The Lord challenged me this week with just loving and glorifying Him through EVERYTHING that I do. The evidence of His love in my life has been so real lately. I cannot express into words how amazing it is to know my heavenly father always loves and provides. He is so faithful and it has been such a testimony lately. A few relationships ;) have been added to my life, and I am realizing that I have to be even more aware and conscious and intentional about loving and serving Christ in everything. It is hard to think that we can glorify Christ just by getting in the car and driving to the store, but it is totally possible. The busyness of this world, along with many other distractions, can hinder so much of our relationship with Christ.
Anyway, I am sorry if I babbled on for a while, but this is where my heart is right now. I am so thankful for serving an awesome and mighty God. Though I fall short everyday, He still loves me :)
I mentioned earlier that there have been some changes in my life...here is one.. :)
