Many are the plans in a man's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21
So I am in Tennessee right now soaking up being with my grandparents. So far we have had a blast relaxing, cooking, four wheeling, shopping, and fishing. I have also gotten to do a lot of reading, a lot more than usual. I have picked up "Redeeming Love" again and I am finally far enough into it that I don't want to put it down. I cannot believe the story. It has really opened up my eyes to relationships and how to deal with certain things. I am so thankful for the family that God has given me, and the protection that I always had when I was young.  The story is just like the one from the book of Hosea. Hosea marries a prostitute and tries to give her a better life, yet she still runs from him over and over again. She tries to go back to her old ways, not understanding that he really loves her, and understands that he made a marriage covenant that he will not break. She does not understand why he would love her and refuses it over and over again. It has been so incredible to read about how he does not give up on her and loves her through everything. I am not done with the book yet, but I am sure that I will have a lot to write about when I am all through with it.
I was outside on the swing a while ago reading through Proverbs. I came across Proverbs 19 and found the most amazing verse. I think of all of the times that I just want to make my own plans, because I KNOW they are exactly what is right,  right?? not! The Lord's plan ALWAYS prevails! That is not something we always like to see but most of the time, we cannot see the big picture. Anyway, I found another favorite verse out of God's word that I hope I never forget !
