Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:12

Well, we made it! A week in the mountains with no cell service, dirt and bugs everywhere, and kids hungry for Jesus! I have admitted to a lot of you reading this that I wasn't excited for this trip. It was not only my first time being a counselor for younger children, it was my first time back up in the mountains at a camp in a LONG time. But, it was absolutely amazing. It is so funny how you go to things as a leader but always get so much out of it. I couldn't believe that even though the sermons were more simple than I am used to, they were still as powerful to me than a lot of what I hear in college or college ministries. God really dealt with my heart, especially my heart for the kids. I have always been interested in reaching out to older kids, but never elementary aged kids. I couldn't believe how innocent and beautiful these kids really are! Their hearts are absolutely precious and they are so much smarter than they look! Even though we had some creepy crawlers at night and a few obstacle courses to get through, it was an absolutely fantastic trip!

Well that is it in a nutshell, I wanted to take some time and add some pictures! Enjoy!
