"Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you."
Hebrews 13:5
I was very intentional in making sure that this was the verse that I posted for this blog, because this seems to be the verse that has played over a thousand times in my head for the past few days. Not just in one certain situation, but for a multitude of situations. The biggest one is because I am not used to a quiet VanCamp house, but that is what it has been and will be for the next 2 weeks. YUCK! I never realized how much I love my loud busy house when everyone is home. Mom, Dad, and Shea are in Tennessee. They took the alpacas and the llamas to Cason Road. Trey is so busy playing sports and working. I have been working as well but it is playing out to be exactly when Trey is home. Oh well, we are going to keep trusting in the Lord.
I went on a yogurt date with Calian today, and I absolutely love her. Some doors might be opening and possibilities for us to spend more time together, maybe even working together. So I am going to spend a lot of time in prayer to see if God would want me to open that door, wow I am so glad He never leaves me or forsakes me.
I went grocery shopping today and got super excited. It has been weeks since I have had to grocery shop, but it reminded me that I actually learned a thing or two by living on my own! haha. I got Trey and I food for the week and really planned and budgeted. I was pretty proud :) haha
Well, this week won't be bad, but next week I will be completely alone. I never even was alone when I had my own apartment, if my roommates were gone, I would invite people over for sleepovers! haha. So keep me in your prayers next week.
Lord, thank you for never leaving nor forsaking us.
Girl - you are so funny. I have NEVER liked to stay by myself. I always stay up really late so I just fall into bed and fall asleep - you must have some of my genes!! LOL! I like being by myself during the day but when it's dark I want someone there. I'll be praying for you - you will be fine.
ReplyDeleteKeep trusting the Lord for every little need - He's working things out even when we can't see what he's doing. I love to see you digging into the word to help you deal with your problems - that's why God allows us to go through problems - so we will press into the Lord and let him carry us. Have a fun week.
Love,
Aunt Sherry

Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.
