life.

It has been forever since I have blogged and so much has happened. I don't even know where to start.
I graduate in 15 days. I have a two page to do list from now until that graduation day. ah. Okay, I am going to organize this blog :)  lets start with Thanksgiving break..

BUSY BUSY BUSY! I had such a wonderful wonderful break, but it sure did go by fast.
Trey and I got home late Friday night, exhausted after a full day of school. I walked into my room, sat on my bed, and realized that there was a new mattress on it! Mom and dad found me a memory foam! woo hoo!!!! Although I didn't sleep many hours over break, I sure did sleep WELL when I did get to sleep!

Writing about everything during break would take forever, so here are some highlights and thoughts:

{Breakfast with my BEST FRIEND BETHANY !!!} We spent two hours at the Coffee Shop just chatting about life, what the Lord is doing and how thankful we are for one another. I just LOVE her!

{CHURCH} It was good getting to go back to my home church. The first Sunday morning I had a really hard time. I was looking around and seeing faces that I have never seen, and not seeing faces that I thought should be there. But it was okay, I had to realize that life really does go on without me! ha!

{The Gathering} Trey scheduled the Gathering for the first Sunday night that we were back. It now meets at Calvary Chapel Church, and the building is gorgeous ! It was so awesome to be in a building with such wonderful people. I got to be in on the prayer meeting which lasted about an hour prior to opening the doors. It was incredible. Reflecting on scripture and bowing before God and asking Him to work on the hearts of the people that would be there that night. Trey gave a FANTASTIC message about "Church" and it was incredible.

{Tuesday Night Turkey Drive} Heart Cry fed over 500 families this Thanksgiving! It was absolutely wonderful! On Tuesday, from 3-7 we all hungout in front of the Chick Fil A parking lot and passed out Turkeys to families in need. It was wonderful to see the faces of the families light up, and it was also wonderful to be able to fellowship with our church family.

{Family Time} I got soo much family time this break! I absolutely LOVED it. I went shopping to Ross with Grandma Peggy (This is our tradition) and went to lunch at Olive Garden. It was absolutely such a wonderful day. On Thanksgiving day my family spend the day at Papa and Grandma's, and it was really great. Grandma made some delicious food! Yum! and I provided the dessert...special recipe of Peach Cobbler!

{Black Friday} Yep- I participated in Black Friday. MOM and TREY came along for the ride as well. Trey thought since we were leaving at 5:30 AM that we would only be an hour or two, but when noon rolled around, I am sure he was wishing that he would have just slept in!! haha. We got some CRAZY good deals and had a lot of fun. I spend that evening working at Brighton, which is always fun to come back to.

{CRAZIEST SATURDAY EVER} Okay, this day was absolutely insane. I woke up at 5 AM and got ready for a garage sale. I was bound and determined to make some Christmas money!!! Well, long story short, we made almost 500 DOLLARS!!!! It was a complete success!!! But right as 11 o'clock hit, we all rushed inside to get ready for the Van Camp family reunion. We got ready and rushed out the door. I met some people that I have never met before and then saw some that haven't seen me since I was only 3. It was crazy. It was so great to see the different families and how they have stayed together. They all sat around and shared memories and fun times that they remember. Here are some pictures from that day...

{First week back to school} This week has been the most emotionally exhausting week ever. I have been faced with so many decisions, that I feel like I am not even capable of making a real decision. I was offered a fantastic job, but everything just didn't line up how it should have. I am not sure that I like this growing up thing. Actually, I don't like it at all. :) But I have grown an appreciation for my family, seeing how much they really love and cherish. Thank you to Aunt Sherry who spend the last few days of her life only texting me, giving me words I need to hear. I am lucky to have a counselor just a text or phone call away!!!!

I have held onto this verse:

Show me the path where I should walk, O Lord;
point out the right road for me to follow
                                 Psalm 25:4
