Wow. what an incredible Sunday this has already been. I am not sure I have ever felt so proud to be a daughter of Jesus Christ, an earthly daughter to Billy and Lisa Van Camp and even..a sister to Trey Van Camp. My brother was given the opportunity to preach at HeartCry's main service this morning. I was going to blog my notes, but as I was thinking more about it, I know my notes would not do any justice to how Trey uniquely presented the Word. I believe it was pod casted, so when it is posted I will let you all know. But anyway, Trey started out by quoting from memory Psalm 148, 149, and 150. Through the distractions of the children leaving for children's church, and his mic losing battery, he chugged through it without any hesitation. Trey was able to show HeartCry's body how we need to abandon ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Christ as He commands. To Share the word, Show the word, Teach the word, and Serve the world. I don't want to get too much into detail but I can't even express how thorough and powerful the service was. I sit here humbled and amazed at how the Lord is doing an extravagant work in the life of my brother. Keep Trey in your prayers as he continues to be a warrior and Kingdom builder for Christ.
