I have so many things I want to blog about. I don't even know where to start. But here I go-
Today my mom and I went and got our nails done. Something we used to do ALL of the time. I got done a lot earlier than she did, so I decided to go take a stroll around Safeway while she was finishing up. I am an extroverted person, but sometimes there is just something therapeutic about walking around by yourself. I went to the book section {yes in Safeway, it is not very large. haha} But I found this book entitled "1001 Things To Be Thankful For" It was something that caught my eye, and I was intrigued to see what I would find. It was simply a list of things to be thankful for. Things like campfires. beach sand. a sunset. coffee. cuddling. chick flicks. parents. daffodils in the spring. but 1001??? really? It made me think, I have so much to be thankful for. As I stood there, I started listing things that I am thankful for, just from this week.
My conclusion::
I am blessed.
This week was amazing. My roommates came into town on Thursday. We celebrated my birthday with both of my sides of the family that evening. We also made hair accessories, aren't they cute???
There were lots more! We even made some for the Angels game! so fun!
Here are some more shots from the evening:
Friday was my birthday! We went to Bling Boulevard to shop :)
Then it was off to the ANGELS/BREWERS Spring Training game!
The Angels WON! YAY!
Then it was off to the best restaurant of all time::
Texas Roadhouse !!!
Well if you can't tell- I have more than 1001 things to be thankful for.
Being home this week has been so good. I love my family and my friends. They all have the love of Christ just beaming through them. I hope I can show them just a little bit of the kind of love that they show me.
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
