Well..Christmas break is coming to an end, and it sure is coming quickly. It is Monday night, and I will be driving home this Friday morning. I know I still have a few days at home, but I know they are going to fly by. I am then going to be entering the life of a crazy busy schedule packed with school music and focus. But I am SO excited :)
I haven't done a very good job at blogging about this break! Probably because I have worked a total of 48 hours for the few days that I have actually been back. Yes, I LOVE working at Brighton, but wheewwww that was A LOT of work!!! Thankfully, this past Saturday was my last day working for this break, and I truly enjoyed the time that I got to work.
When I wasn't working at Brighton, I was doing lots of other fun things! A week ago, we went to the SUNS game and played the Cavs and then tonight the Suns played the Lakers. SOOO FUN!!! We had an absolute BLAST! There will be pictures to come. I also did lots of Christmas shopping :) and baking. I just LOVE this time of year, especially being home.
Christmas was such a blessing. I worked during the day of Christmas Eve. I got off and went straight home to change and then off to Christmas Eve service. Michelle, Calian and I sang at the service and knocked it out of the park! It was so much fun! We left church and headed to Papa and Grama Peggy's house. Grama is feeling much better, which is such a blessing, and so she made Enchiladas and they were excellent! I got an adorable scarf, SUPER CUTE Suns blingy jacket and some $$$MONEY$$$!!!
We had a wonderful time. The next morning Shea woke the family up at 6 AM. whew I was so exhausted! but we all went into the family room and opened our presents from Santa :) I got some super super super cute stuff and so did everyone in the fam. It was a hard Christmas this year, but a wonderful reminder that the biggest blessing is that we were all together, and that we have the ultimate gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
We then drove out to Casa Grande for some Mac N Cheese for breakfast at Grandma VanCamps :) We decided to do a giftcard exchange with all of the adults on that side of the family. I ended up with 25 bucks to Target :) WOO HOO I LOVE Target!
After spending the day with all of the aunts and uncles and cousins, we headed home for a Christmas nap and to watch ELF :) All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas!
