Every once in a while I think that it is a good thing to dwell on what you are thankful for. Yes, this is the month of November, and we are encouraged in this month more than others, to be thankful. But as I woke up this morning, I laid in bed and just thought of everything that I am thankful for. I obviously don't have a picture for everything that I am thankful for, but I thought I would at least share a few. There are thousands and thousands of blessings that the Lord has showered in my life, and I cannot express how unworthy and humbled I am by them. The people, opportunities, events, and places that the Lord has shown or given to me, are absolutely incredible.
During my time with the Lord this week, I have been reading through the book of Colossians. Through this, I have been shown how I am thankful for God's PERFECT timing in all things. It is truly unbelievable when you are able to look back on things in your life, and see the Lord's hand on absolutely everything, and how His timing could not be more perfect. A piece of scripture that really caught my eye and hasn't left me was this...

Colossians 3:15

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Wow! We are called by Christ to peace, and to be thankful. Out of anything that I could have heard this week, THIS is what I needed to hear. I am so thankful that Christ has so perfectly written scripture to guide us through our lives in literally EVERY single circumstance. I sometimes think "well this situation is far too complicated for their to be any guidance in the word". HOW can I think such things? There is something in the Word for absolutely everything. As I grow more and more hungry for the Word, I am seeing that evidence more and more.

Anyway, I challenge you to dwell on what you are thankful for...You will realize you are blessed!
