Well, Shea and I made it back home to Arizona. We woke up at 2 AM Arizona time, traveled 2 hours to the Memphis airport, then took the 3 hour flight home. It is not even noon and I feel like it should be getting dark any minute now. haha. The traveling wasn't so bad though. Shea slept most of the drive and most of the flight. I always get so many stares in airports when it is just her and I. This time I only had 2 people ask if she was my daughter. I don't want to make them feel stupid and tell them we are only 10 years apart, but I always want to. While she slept on me during the flight, I finished Redeeming Love. WOW! What a GREAT book! It was really hard for me to get into, but once I did, I was completely amazed. One of the main characters comes to find the Lord, after running from her husband and the Lord countless times. It took her years and years to find the Lord, but it definitely showed how faithful the Lord is, and how He has His own timing in mind, not what we seem to think. Even as the reader, I found myself saying that she was helpless and I wasn't sure where the book was going. Even her husband took her back with open arms after leaving him over and over and over again. I closed the book, absolutely exhausted from traveling, but sooo excited and encouraged by the story. The God I serve is so mighty and so faithful to us.
I have a song on my playlist titled "The More I Seek You". I have known this song for a long time and I absolutely am in love with it. The words are absolutely amazing.  I can't seem to stop singing it today. Here are some of the lyrics:
The more I seek you,
The more I find you
The more I find you, the more I love you
I wanna sit at your feet
Drink from the cup in your hand.
Lay back against you and breath, feel your heart beat
This love is so deep, it's more than I can stand.
I melt in your peace,
it's overwhelming
