Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
As you can tell, it has been a while since I have blogged. It is evidence of my absolutely insane life lately. I find myself thinking that I might have to start writing down when to eat and sleep, because I might forget. There are exactly 3 weeks of school left, and the definition of that is udder chaos. My mom reminds me every single day to just take everything one day at a time. I had meetings tonight, and when I came back to my apartment, I took my Bible out, but wasn't sure where to turn. It was one of those times when I was so hungry for the word, but had so many things that I wanted to talk to God about, that I didn't even know where to turn. Then I remembered that Trey's favorite verse was Isaiah 41:10, and I really think that is summed it up perfectly. How often I forget that my Lord and Savior is here for me, and is here to guide and protect me. He is so righteous and I am so not worthy, but He loves me.   This week I have been convicted of many things. I went to church last night (because I didn't have a choir concert) and the service was on obedience and baptism. It absolutely rocked me. I realized that I need to stop perfecting everything by myself. I have found myself controlling every part of my life; my finances, my schoolwork, my friendships. All I really need to do is give it up to the Lord, and let Him do His thing. There is so much obedience in simply trusting in the Lord.
Well, I don't have much tonight, but Easter is coming, and I am getting very excited for that. What an awesome and living God we serve :)
